Well that was a longer blog break than I intended to have. It just seems like we've been in the thick of it for the past couple of weeks. And in July, of all times. The month that should be reserved for fancy-free frolicking and corn on the cob. Well, here is a very quick run-down of our current events:
We never did go on our trip to Petoskey because Josh got in a car accident on I-94 just two hours before our departure time. He was okay (thank heavens!!) but the car was totalled. We were so sad to see our 40 mpg Honda Civic get towed away forver. But the fun news is that I now have a station wagon, which is something I've wanted ever since becoming a mom. It's a Subaru Outback and it is very cute! No name yet, but it's dark blue so I'm thinking maybe Suzy Blue. (RIP Goldie Hawnda!)
Josh and Ivo took a boys' trip without me to visit cousins. Almost three whole days to myself, wowza! I planned on crafting until my fingers turned into crumpled little craws, hoping to fill up my shop and complete some wholesale orders, but I ended doing a LOT of relaxing and sleeping in. So refreshing.
We have Netflix now so I got myself all riled up by watching the following documentaries: The End of Suburbia, Escape from Suburbia, and The Future of Food. Oh my. crap.
And one more thing . . . just to end on a positive note . . . Thank you so much for every nice comment about my big "critical mass" post. I appreciate all the encouraging words so much. Someday when my hands really are crumply craws your kind words will be all I have to look back on. Well thats kind of silly but seriously, it means a lot. Thank you.
