This is my first attempt at making a Mini Moopie. I told my sister that I was making a bunny for her son Quinn, who is one year old and loves "nunnies" with all his little heart. But now, I don't know . . . I am kind of thinking maybe this Moopie looks a little rough. Josh told me to "think of it as the first pancake". So that can't be good. I know he wasn't diggin' the frankenstein-like arm proportions, which believe it or not I actually did on purpose because I thought it would be cute. I do think the little red pocket and hankie were a nice touch on my part. If I do say so. And I will say this, at least it was fun to make. It got my mind all riled up with ideas for future Mini Moopies. It's the darn technical details that goof me up every time, though. I need to be like a little pioneer girl and sew samplers with tiny stitches, then work up to harder projects little by little. Not that this bunny is necessarily a "hard project". Hee hee hee, it was for me! I'm just sayin'. Actually if I were a pioneer girl I would have to start with a corncob wrapped in a blankie as my first doll, which I'm sure I could pull off beautifully.
Here's a picture of Ivo playing dumptruck with my fabric scraps. I guess that would make it a scrapyard. And look at that messy floor I have there. Oh my. Somebody call the Merry Maids over here, will ya?
Have a happy Sunday everyone!

I LOVE your Mini-Moopie--he is adorable. Grandpa Bub thought he was cute, too, but he especially liked Ivo and his truck in the "scrapyard." I love you tons--Big Nana hugs and kisses for Ivo.......Love, Mom

I think your mini moopie is much better than a 1st pancake...boys! I like the oversized arms, but my favorite part is the pocket. I'm a detail kind of girl.
